I'm Geeta

​Geeta, the Founder and Creative Director of Afsaana Dance, has been trained in both South Indian (Bharatnatyam) and North Indian (Kathak) classical dance styles.  But her first love is Bollywood!  She has been performing since she was five years old for the small South Asian community while living in Anchorage, Alaska.  Moving to Seattle only enhanced her performances.  She has performed for various events in the area since 1992 and has been teaching since 1998.  She traveled to India on numerous occasions to study Kathak...
